                     Miscellaneous tidbits for Mission Moments

  • Missionary Assist gave us 24 Spanish Bibles to give out. We took them to the Ngäbe Women’s Convention for distribution. Thank you, Yvonne.
  • We enjoy our Thursday evening Bible Study with our Catholic friends. We are a very supportive group and have some really interesting discussions and learn a lot! We always have something or someone to pray about and have seen prayers answered.
  • Our son finally got to come to Panama to visit the end of September. Praise the Lord! We visited  Oma church where we sponsor a children’s feeding program. The Jesuit Seminary was our next stop and we touredthe grounds led by Bob who has been there for years. We then stopped at Chorcha and saw the well, and the pigs, and the children’s feeding shelter. More about the pigs below!
  • My husband and I have been enjoying our pastor’s sermons at the Hillside Baptist Church. Interesting sermons! He really loves the Lord!
  • My nightly prayer list has seen a lot new prayers and answered prayers. It seems I just cross someone off the list due to healing and another one is added.God hears prayers. James 5:16.“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” ( New International Version). The older we get, the more ailments it seems! Thank the good Lord for prayer warriors. If you haven’t already, check out Ngabe Social Tidbits and the new Ngabe Women’s Convention.

   Now, about those pigs!

Mission Moments presents Martina

Martina is a lovely Ngäbe woman who is extremely generous! She has already donated land for the Chorcha Children’s Feeding Shelter, well, and greenhouse. She now is raising two pigs for the Orphans program through PROEDUCANN.

One pig will be eaten by the orphans and children and the other pig will be sold. The money will then be for the orphans through PROEDUCANN.

This lady is such a wonderful person. By the way, she also cares for an orphan child who lost both parents at about age three.

“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”
Isaiah 58:10
